Riverlink has developed an integral communication plan that provides a concise and operational plan which will assist in the achievement of Riverlink's vision and mission through communication.
Communication is an essential factor to ensuring the Riverlink program is a success. Riverlink staff regular communicate with each other, industry, growers, funding bodies and government departments to promote cross collaboration and to produce meaningful outcomes.

Local council support for horticulture
Mildura Rural City Council and Wentworth Shire Council commissioned a report into the state of the region's horticultural industries, with a view to gaining support and information to ensure viability and to help individual growers. A number of projects have been funded from the initial Economic Sustainability of the Mildura Horticultural Region report, released March 2006.
The reports make recommendations in relation to the structure and operation of horticultural enterprises ranging from farm size, range of crops grown, ways to save money through collaboration and ways to further add value to produce.
